On the slowest day at the tournament, Team Likeke (1,895) held a 207-point lead, while Kona Game Fishing Club-Kusatsu was third (1,564).

The largest catch of the day was a 408-pound Pacific blue marlin by Ahipara Game Fish Club, New Zealand.
